Habbo Runway™ Competition Rules

HABBO RUNWAY™ COMPETITION RULES

1. General

Sulake Inc, 225 Santa Monica Boulevard, Fourth Floor, Santa Monica, California 90401 (“Sulake” or “us”) is running HabboŽ Runway Competition during 16 April – 25 April 2010 (“Competition”) and in that Competition we are looking for the number one Habbo fashion designer.

By submitting Your HabboŽ virtual outfit design to us You at the same time accept these Rules of the Habbo Runway Competition.

In order to be able to enter the Competition, you need to

(1) Design your own HabboŽ virtual outfit by using pixel art; and

(2) submit the designed HabboŽ virtual outfit to us by sending it to us via email

Please note that in case You are not a registered user of Habbo Hotel™, you can still participate in the Competition by designing a HabboŽ virtual outfit and sending it to us via email and then sending us a postcard detailing the name of Your virtual outfit and Your real life name and contact details.

Please note that participation in the Competition does not require that you pay fees or any other consideration to us. If you are under 13 years old, please ask you parents’ or other legal guardians’ permission to enter into the Competition.

You can participate with as many HabboŽ virtual outfits as you want. Please note that the prizes are awarded to the HabboŽ character of Your designation in the local Habbo Hotel™ service or, in case of a postcard participation, to the person whose information is listed on the postcards. Thus by submitting another user’s HabboŽ character name You at the same time express Your wish that the possible prize should be awarded to the HabboŽ character you have designated.

The outfits must be submitted to us before 25th of April at 7pm EST / 4pm PST.

You are solely responsible of the fact that HabboŽ virtual outfits do not infringe any rights of third parties. Sulake reserves the right to exclude any such HabboŽ virtual outfit from the Competition which in Sulake’s opinion infringes third parties’ rights.

2. Selection of the Winner and prizes

2.1. Local Voting 27 April – 2 May, 2010 7pm EST / 4pm PST

A Sulake judge panel together with Miley Cyrus selects the best 15 HabboŽ virtual outfits of the submitted virtual outfits on local Habbo Hotel™. The selected 15 HabboŽ virtual outfits are then put on a local vote where the registered users of the Local Site choose the best local virtual outfit. The virtual outfit with the most votes at the end of the Local Voting will participate in the Global Voting.

Only one vote per registered user is permitted in the Local Voting.

2.2. Global Voting 5 May – 9 May, 2010, 00:00 CET (7pm EST / 4pm PST)

The winning local designs are put up for a global vote, in which the whole Habbo Hotel community votes for the best ones.

Only one vote per registered user is permitted in the Global Voting.

2.3. Winner of the Competition and the Prizes

A Sulake judge panel together with Miley Cyrus chooses the winner out of the 3 most voted designs in the Global Voting. The winner will be announced within reasonable time period after the end of the Global Voting.

The main prize of the entire Competition is getting your design to be made into actual Habbo virtual outfit and made available at Habbo club for Habbo club members, publicity on all Habbo sites, the entire Runway furni set and one year of VIP club membership.

The prize for the winners of the Local Voting is the signed Habbo Trophy, badge and the 6 Designer furni items.

The prize shall be awarded to the user who has registered in the local Habbo Hotel™ service with the HabboŽ name used as the name of the winning virtual outfit or, in case of a postcard, to the person whose details are listed in the postcard. Sulake reserves the right to try to contact the winner also by other means (e.g. HabboŽ console) but it does not undertake to do so.

In case Sulake receives no response from the winner within two (2) days from the initial contact by Sulake, the Habbo Runway virtual outfit shall be excluded from the Competition and another virtual outfit design shall be deemed as the winner. The process shall continue until the prize is duly delivered to the winner.

Sulake may require that the winners of the Votings have to execute a separate Prize Acceptance Form. If the winner of the Voting is younger than 18 years old, Sulake may require that his/her legal guardian has to sign the Prize Acceptance Form before the prize is awarded to the winner.

The winner can not require Sulake to provide him money in the prize’s stead.

No prizes will be awarded as a result of improper actions by or on behalf of any entrant.

3. Sulake rights

By submitting a HabboŽ virtual outfit design (“Work”) to Sulake you at the same time grant to Sulake and its affiliated companies a limited perpetual, global, royalty-free, sublicensable right to

(a) reproduce, display, publish and in all other ways communicate to the public the Work in connection with the Competition in Internet and all other media;

(b) make changes to and create derivative works from the Work;

(c) store, reproduce, display, publish and in all other ways communicate to the public the Work for marketing or promotional purposes; and

(d) reproduce and make available the Work at Habbo Hotels globally.

4. Limitations and Other Terms

The employees of Sulake of its affiliates, as well as member belonging to the same household, are not permitted to enter into the Competition. The real life name, home address and other contract details of the winners are not going to be displayed publicly. The contact information submitted by the participants in connection with the Competition are not going to be used for direct marketing purposes.

Sulake shall not be liable for any damage, loss, cost, expense (including the loss of chance to participate in the Competition and receive the prizes) resulting from technical or other faults in the Habbo Hotel website or elsewhere, the operation if the Internet and/or Your Internet connection, or problems in the participation or in the receipt or use of the prizes.
